A Frequently Asked Question

Question:

Why doesn't PERRLA have a version for Mac users?

Answer:

Currently, PERRLA software is tightly integrated with the programming environment that is built into Microsoft Office - and which is absent from the latest Mac version of Office.

We know of a number of users (including several of us here at PERRLA, LLC) who are successfully using PERRLA software on a Mac by creating a Microsoft Windows partition within their Mac. Software such as Bootcamp (included with OS X), Parallels, and VMWare Fusion make it possible to run Microsoft Windows on any Mac that uses the Intel chipset. Having OS X and Windows running on the same machine gives you the best of both worlds.

We should mention that, if all goes according to plan, we will release a Mac version of our software in late 2010. Stay tuned...
