While PERRLA is easy to use and guides you every step of the way, we've created some tutorial videos on pertinent topics. Some videos also include a corresponding PDF file that contains a transcript and screen captures of the video.

Like all modern software, APA/MLA PERRLA requires activation when you use it for the first time. This video shows how to quickly activate APA/MLA PERRLA if your computer is connected to the internet (Automatic Activation). If your computer is not connected to the internet you can activate APA PERRLA using the Manual Activation method. Both are shown in this video.

11. How to cite a secondary source
Sometimes you will find a reference in your source material that you would like to use as a reference in your paper. This is called a secondary source. This video shows you how to add this secondary source to your APA paper.

12. How to remove a blank page
If you have an un-needed blank page in your paper and need help removing it, this video will show you how to quickly remove the blank page.

13. How to correct a reference
If you find an error in one of your references, don’t manually edit your reference page. This could cause issues when adding additional references. This video will show you how to edit your reference without causing any issues on your reference page.

14. How to cite an existing reference (read the PDF)
If you have already cited a source and wish to cite it again, this video will show you how.

15. How to add a reference to your paper from the Reference Database
You have written lots of papers. You have created tons of references and citations. Now you want to use those references in a new paper. This video will show you how to access your reference database and add existing references to your new paper.

16. Edit Name and School defaults
When filled out the form to purchase PERRLA you made a mistake in the spelling of your schools name or didn’t use the proper case for your name and now you want to fix it. This video will show you how to edit the default information that PERRLA uses when creating your title page.

17. Annotated Bibliography (read the PDF)
Creating an annotated bibliography can be a little difficult. This video shows you how to create your properly formatted reference list so you can then additional information to create your annotated bibliography.
