Papers never count toward storage. Only the files you attach to references do: the PDFs, scans, and recordings behind your sources.

Are there any hidden fees?

What counts toward my storage?
Only files: the PDFs, scans, images, and recordings you attach to references or Collections. Papers never count. You can see your usage any time under Settings, then Library & data.
What happens when my storage is full?
PERRLA tells you at 80% and 95%. When it's full, new uploads pause and nothing is deleted. You can remove files, or upgrade from Settings and pay only the prorated difference for the rest of your term.
Can I switch plans during my subscription?
Yes. Upgrades take effect right away and you pay the prorated difference. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
What happened to Priority Support?
It's included with PERRLA Pro and PERRLA Unlimited now, rather than sold on its own. If you had Priority Support on a 1-month, 1-year, or 2-year subscription, your account moved to PERRLA Pro at the same price or less. On a 6-month subscription, your Priority Support continues as it is.
What happens to my files if my subscription ends?
Your work is still yours. Files are kept for at least 90 days after a subscription ends, and you can sign in to download your references as a .bib file, your papers, and all of your files, zipped.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Any purchase or renewal is fully refundable for 30 days, for any reason. Email [email protected].
