Hello, everyone. My name is Betty. I have my Bachelor's in Nursing and I started using PERRLA pretty much when I started my BSN classes. We had a lot of papers. They were in APA. PERRLA was just so simple. I had actually heard about it through one of the ladies that was at our center. They would do tutoring and things like that. So, I went in and downloaded it. Hi, I'm Kim. I'm a Family Nurse Practitioner student. I was introduced to PERRLA by one of my professors who just finished her Ph.D. a couple of years ago. I was really overwhelmed with APA formatting, having not been to school in over 20 years. This program has really helped me. I recommend PERRLA because it allows me to create a library of references and to have this bank of knowledge that I'm able to go back to time and time again. So, one night, frantically working against a deadline (of course) I was searching the internet, looking for a tool to help me understand how to do these APA citations and do them quickly because I was up against a deadline... and I found PERRLA... and it has been a wonderful gift... a Godsend... a savior, really, for me, especially in the beginning days of writing my papers.

The settings to be able to set up the paper, from the abstract to the different chapters, the citings tool, understanding that it's going to help me write my paper in APA style has been just wonderful. And, even when I sit down to open a different tool to write the paper I'm like... no, let me go to PERRLA because I know here I'm not going to waste time fussing over the formatting.
