The Take Away

Since releasing PERRLA for Google Docs last month, we've been working to bring the rest of PERRLA's features to Google as well. The first and most important of these is formatting and styling the document itself.

When creating a paper with Google Docs, PERRLA now sets up all the styles, margins, fonts, and paper sections, right out of the gate for you.

In addition to handling the document formatting, you can now view and use your PERRLA Research Notes in Google Docs as well. As you add references to your paper, you can add the Research Notes for that reference into your paper's body with just a click.

We'll keep making progress over the semester until we've got every PERRLA feature covered!

Tags & Research Management

Keeping up with all of your research, references, and notes is a real challenge. The more schooling you do, the worse the problem becomes!

One of the next big projects on our docket is to start bringing the tools and features you need to stay on top of all your research into PERRLA.

The first pass will be to add a new module in PERRLA Online to make it easier to create, organize, and manage the Tags you use in your Reference Library. After that will be saving primary sources in your references and helping you organize your research effectively.
