If you’re new to PERRLA, or if you just want to get more out of it, we host free live webinars every week. You’ll see a full demo of how PERRLA works, and a member of our Customer Support Team will be there live to answer your questions and walk you through anything you’d like to explore further.
No signup required. Just show up.
What to expect
Each session starts with a full demonstration of PERRLA – from creating a new paper to adding references, inserting citations, and producing a finished, properly formatted document. After the demo, a member of our Customer Support Team joins the session live to answer your questions. If there’s a specific feature you’d like to see in more detail, just ask. We’re happy to dig in.
Sessions typically run around 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the questions, and there’s no pressure to have your camera on or participate out loud. You can ask questions in the chat, watch quietly, or do both.
Weekly schedule
We run four sessions every week:
- Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Central
- Thursdays at 7 p.m. Central
- Saturdays at 4 p.m. Central
- Sundays at 4 p.m. Central
All sessions cover the same material, so join whichever fits your schedule best.
How to join
You'll find the link to join the webinar on the PERRLA home page, just underneath the heading, "Want some help getting started?" You can join directly at session time – no registration required. If you’d like a reminder before the next session, you can sign up at perrla.myflodesk.com/perrla101 and we’ll send you one.
Can’t make it live?
If none of the session times work for you, our PERRLA 101 Getting Started video is available on the PERRLA YouTube channel. It covers the same material as the webinar demo, and you can watch it at your own pace. The live sessions are still the best option if you have questions, but the video is a solid starting point. And, of course, any time you have a question, you can email our support team directly at support@perrla.com. They’re available every weekday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Central and on weekends from 1 until 10 p.m. Central, and they’re always happy to help.
Who it’s for
These sessions are designed for students who are new to PERRLA and want to see how it works before diving in, but they’re just as useful if you’ve been using PERRLA for a while and have questions about a specific feature. The Q&A portion is open-ended – bring whatever’s on your mind.
Not a PERRLA subscriber yet? You can start a free 7-day trial – no credit card needed – and join a live session to get started on the right foot.
